The Van Fund Sessions Resurrected...

We resurrected "The Van Fund Sessions" at a recent gig at Brooks Wines in Amity Oregon and the fans quickly jumped on board with requests and generous donations to help us keep the van running so we can get from town to town to spread the Sugar Still love. We recorded three of the requests this afternoon in a rest area north of Seattle while sitting in the van itself, hahaha, true road warriors. In any case, this is the first one we're posting, a cover of U.S. Blues by the Grateful Dead as requested by Gerry Rasch of Salem, OR. Thanks for your support Gerry! We hope you like it.

One of the inside jokes in this version relates to Sarah's hope that when society collapses she'll be able to go live in a cave with her goat (named Ferdinand), So when the lyric "skin the goat" came up, I referred to Ferdinand by name. Ando of course, for those of you who know us well, we had to add at least a little bit of a cat solo.

Then tonight Sarah got pulled over for speeding coming into Ellensburg WA and I got a ticket for riding in the back without a seat belt, hahaha, so this has now become the "Keep Sugar Still Out Of Jail Fund" as well.

For those of you who want to watch it on YouTube directly, here's the direct link:
